State tracking programs have successfully used their tracking networks to identify and educate at-risk communities. Other success stories include endeavours to improve surveillance, support epidemiologic studies, target prevention efforts, and inform policymakers. Future directions include identifying knowledge gaps, developing plans for adding new data sources and collaborators to fill those gaps, and improving application and utility of the Tracking Networks.}, number={1}, journal={Online Journal of Public Health Informatics}, author={Eggers, Carrie and Wall, Patrick}, year={2014}, month={Mar.} }
